1.
What is collision repair?
Collision
repair is the conventional method of repairing and repainting damaged
panels on a vehicle that has been in a fender bender or an accident.
Using high technology unibody/full frame repair equipment and original
manufacturers’ parts and products, ASE and I-CAR certified technicians
are able to restore your vehicle’s appearance to like-new condition.
2.
What are the qualifications of the technicians who will be performing
the repair work on my vehicle?
Initially
Yours companies’ technicians are ASE and I-CAR trained and certified.
This is important because many insurers require body shops to meet the
Collision Industry Conference definition of a Class A Shop and have
I-CAR Gold certification to be included on their ‘preferred’ lists.
Certified repair technicians have years of metal repair experience
with all vehicle makes and models.
3.
How can I be certain that my vehicle is structurally sound after being
involved in a collision?
Unibody and frame specialists perform a thorough damage assessment to
evaluate any structural damage to the frame. The vehicle is set up on
high technology unibody/full frame repair equipment. Computerized
frame straightening equipment is available to realign the structure of
the vehicle, if required, and a GDS sonic measuring device is used to
confirm structural measurements are within factory tolerances.
4.
Are you able to match the paint applied on the repaired panels with
the existing factory or custom paint finish on the remainder of my
vehicle?
Only the highest quality paints and materials, as well as the latest
in innovative processes, are used on your vehicle. A computerized
color matching system is available to ensure an accurate color match
is achieved, and multiple coats of paint are applied to provide
long-lasting durability.
